The story of Founder and Director, James Hopkins.


Born in London but now living in the beautiful county of Kent, James started his career in the property industry nearly 20 years ago where he started as a junior negotiator before climbing up the ranks to branch manager and area director for a large London agency.

After forging a successful career, where he successfully sold over £100 million pounds worth of property in a short space of time, which was simply down to a relentless thirst and love for property. James then decided it was the right time to open his own agency: Alexander James, named after himself and his late and beloved grandfather, who sadly passed before he could see the company blossom. James s well known for his personal approach and being available around the clock for all his clients and his passion and market knowledge is second to none.

" After working for many years in high-end London market of Islington & Dulwich, I decided it was the right time to start my own agency and bring the very best marketing and services together all under one roof. Adding a unique edge of design and flair from our high street location in Edenbridge, which could easily service the surrounding villages, and the rest of the South East. By creating a bold and modern branding, right through to everything we do to make sure our clients receive outstanding service, right from the very start of their property journey with us."

Away from the office, James enjoys spending time watching his beloved Man United football team (when they win), keeping fit, days out along the coast, and spending time with his family and young son, Hunter. He also enjoys property development and is always on the look out for his next project or he also enjoys giving free advice to home sellers and buyers on his social media platforms.
